This was a finalist in the ‘Best Original Screenplay’ category of the 2012 Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival!

“For your failure to bow in our Lord’s presence you shall be taught. With this stroke you shall forever genuflect!”
The camera shows a glint of a sharp surgical knife. The knife slashes into a tendon on the back of the knee. The leg goes limp below the knee. The camera closes in on the knife again slicing the adjoining leg. The victim collapses into a kneeling position, this time permanently. As the victim writhes in pain the figure moves in front of them.
